Washer and ironer

Responsibilities:

Wash and treat customers’ garments according to fabric type and care instructions.

Identify and properly treat stains before washing.

Operate washing machines and steam irons safely.

Iron and finish garments neatly and professionally.

Check garments after washing and ironing for remaining stains, damage or poor finishing.

Avoid improper starching or ironing that could damage garments.

Separate garments according to colour, fabric, and washing requirements.

Keep the washing and ironing area clean and organized.

Report damaged garments, difficult stains or equipment problems to the supervisor.

Follow PUREVAULT’s garment-tracking and quality-control procedures.

Ensure garments are properly counted, folded, and handed over for final quality control.

Maintain cleanliness and proper use of detergents and laundry equipment.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of experience A minimum of a degree in a related field
