Stem Category Manager We are seeking an experienced Stem Purchasing Manager to lead a key procurement category within a large, complex organisation.

The role will own and deliver the category strategy, working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver commercial value, efficiencies, savings and innovative solutions across STEM ans scientific categories.

• Develop and implement the Stem category strategy.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and act as the category subject matter expert.
• Lead complex and high-value procurements, tenders, frameworks and Preferred Supplier Lists.
• Develop contracting and negotiation strategies and provide commercial and contractual advice.
• Identify and deliver cost savings, efficiencies and continuous improvement.
• Lead change and transformation initiatives across the category.
• Manage relationships with major Tier 1 S
• Promote innovation, sustainability and new ways of working.

Requirements

• Significant senior-level procurement and commercial experience.
• Strong experience managing complex, large-scale procurements and contracts.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and commercial skills.
• Proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
• Experience working within large, complex and decentralised organisations.
• Strong leadership and change-management capability.
• CIPS qualification/membership desirable.
