About the role A Production Engineer role focused on analyzing and optimizing production processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and capacity within a manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and capacity
- Monitor production performance, including cycle time, line balancing, output, and process stability
- Troubleshoot process and equipment issues while providing technical support to production teams
- Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process standards
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, 5S/6S, and OEE improvement
- Monitor production KPIs and prepare technical reports and improvement proposals
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and company regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Production Engineer or in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, process optimization, and capacity planning
- Familiar with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, OEE, and quality improvement tools (7 QC Tools, 5 Why, FMEA, SPC)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP/MES systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
