COST ACCOUNTANT SUPERVISOR

Job Description:

• Supervise and manage product costing and inventory accounting activities to ensure accurate and timely cost and inventory records.
• Calculate and maintain product and inventory unit costs, including landed cost allocation for imported and locally purchased materials.
• Ensure accurate inventory valuation and perform regular inventory reconciliations, including investigation and resolution of discrepancies.
• Monitor and analyse production costs and cost variances, including material, labor, and manufacturing overhead, and provide relevant costing analysis to management.
• Manage and reconcile inventory-related balances, including Goods Received / Not Invoiced (GR/NI), deposits, and other relevant inventory clearing accounts.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Finance teams to ensure the accuracy of inventory movements, costing data, and supporting documents.
• Prepare costing and inventory reports to support month-end closing, stock opname, management reporting, and Audit requirements. ( Statutory Parties : Customs or ITO )
• Support improvements in costing processes and ERP/system implementation related to costing and inventory management.
• Perform other duties and ad-hoc assignments as required by the Finance Manager or Management.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Inventory Accounting, Cost Accounting, Costing Specialist, or Costing Lead roles.
• Experience in inventory accounting in Bonded zone manufacturing company is a strong advantage.
• Strong hands-on experience in Product Costing, Inventory Unit Cost Calculation, Landed Cost Calculation and Allocation, Inventory Reconciliation, and Deposit & Goods Receipt Reconciliation.
• Solid understanding of inventory accounting, inventory valuation, and costing principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
