What they’ll do:
- Lead, manage, and develop the Project Manager team.
- Make sure every PM is doing their job properly.
- Step in and cover the team when there are escalations, difficult clients, or high-risk projects.
- Act as the first escalation point for major client or project issues.
- QC projects that require extra attention, especially high-stakes, strategic, or sensitive projects.
- Ideally have visibility across all projects, even if they are not reviewing every single deliverable.
- Ensure reports are on time, accurate, and actually useful.
- Be comfortable reading campaign data and understanding performance.
- Still be capable of handling clients directly when needed.
- Maintain quality standards across all project deliverables.
- Coach the team on client management, problem solving, attention to detail, reporting, and timeline ownership.
- Clean up problems when necessary. Yes, some “mess fixing” comes with the role.
What good looks like: The team runs smoothly, reports are always on time, deliverables meet standards, and issues get solved before they become bigger problems.
