QA Tester

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and procedures.
• Write and maintain detailed test cases, including edge cases, and generate test reports periodically.
• Conduct manual and automated testing, including daily inspection of deployed web applications in production.
• Ensure web applications function properly according to system design and business requirements.
• Identify, document, and escalate issues and risks to the project management team.
• Perform a full range of testing types, including Unit Testing, Integration Testing, End-to-End Testing/UAT, Performance Testing, and Regression Testing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in QA/testing roles.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices across various types of testing.
• Proficient in manual testing tools such as Postman, and familiar with project management tools like Jira and Trello.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Appium, and Jenkins.
• Experience with API testing, including coding for API validation.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript (additional language skills are a plus).
• Understanding of performance testing tools like JMeter (nice to have).
• Solid understanding of scalable web application principles, system security, and various development environments.
• Skilled in writing clear and structured test plans, bug reports, and test scenarios.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools, especially Git.
• Relevant QA certifications are an advantage.
• Willing to work full WFO at PIK 2.
