QA Engineer (Banking)
Education
Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. 2.Good communication skill in English (written and spoken) – required for communication with local, regional and headquarter teams
Experience
Minimum 4–7 years of experience in software testing / quality control (for middle level) Experience in system integration testing is preferable Experience in testing for Banking system projects is preferable Key Responsibilities
Understanding test strategy and test plan, create and develop test cases based on system requirements and technical design documents. Perform functional testing, integration testing, and regression testing. Familiar with Non-Functional Testing Execute testing activities and ensure system functionality meets business and technical requirements. Identify, log, track defects, coordinate with Programmer for resolution. Validate fixes and perform re-testing to ensure quality standards are met. Ensure completeness and accuracy of test documentation and reports. Provide quality evaluation or assessment and readiness for deployment. Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory expectations where applicable. Skills
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies (functional, nonfunctional, integration, regression testing) Familiar with multi-platform testing preparation such as Web Based, Front End, Back End and AS400 platform Experience in test case design and execution Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools Understanding of system integration testing in complex environments Ability to analyze requirements and derive test scenarios Knowledge of SDLC processes Experience in banking/payment systems is an advantage Strong analytical and attention to detail Good communication and coordination with technical and business users Strong documentation and reporting capabilities
