IT Financial Analys / FinOps

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT financial management, IT budgeting, or cost optimization.

• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts (AWS, Azure, and GCP), including their key cost components and pricing models.

• Strong analytical skills, particularly in interpreting IT resource utilization data and generating cost-related insights and recommendations.

• Proficiency in data reporting and analysis tools, such as Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, Power BI, Tableau, or other cost analytics platforms.

• Understanding of core FinOps Framework concepts, including Cost Allocation, Usage Optimization, Rate Optimization, and Forecasting.

JD

• Manage and monitor Cloud costs (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) on a regular basis, including the preparation of cost visibility and cost allocation reports.

• Analyze IT resource utilization to identify inefficiencies, cost-saving opportunities, and provide recommendations for optimization. - Collaborate with the Infrastructure team to ensure that resource provisioning aligns with operational requirements and budget constraints.

• Implement FinOps (Cloud Financial Management) practices and frameworks, including budgeting, forecasting, chargeback, and showback processes.

• Develop Cloud cost monitoring dashboards using tools such as Azure Cost Management, AWS Cost Explorer, Google Cloud Billing, or other FinOps platforms.
