Costing Staff

Responsibilities

1. Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and product costing calculations.
2. Prepare and monitor COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) for finished products.
3. Monitor material, labor, and manufacturing overhead costs.
4. Analyze cost variances between BOM, standard cost, and actual cost.
5. Prepare cost and COGS reports for management.
6. Support inventory costing, valuation, and stock reconciliation.
7. Assist with month-end closing related to cost accounting, inventory, and COGS.
8. Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Finance to ensure accurate BOM and cost data.
9. Support stock opname and inventory analysis.
10. Perform other tasks assigned by the Finance Manager.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in Cost Accounting, Product Costing, COGS, BOM, or Inventory Accounting, preferably in a manufacturing/garment company.
3. Strong understanding of cost accounting, BOM, product costing, COGS calculation, inventory valuation, and financial reporting.
4. Experience analyzing material consumption and cost variances is preferred.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
6. Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
7. Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills.
8. Able to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
