Finance Staff (Freight Forwarding / Logistics)

Job Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Staff to join our growing logistics team. The candidate will support daily finance operations and ensure accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions.
2. Issue customer invoices and monitor customer collections.
3. Perform bank reconciliations and record daily financial transactions.
4. Prepare journal entries and assist in month-end and year-end closing.
5. Verify operational costs related to shipments and ensure accurate cost allocation.
6. Reconcile shipment files with billing and accounting records.
7. Assist in preparing tax reports and statutory filings.
8. Support internal and external audit activities.
9. Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
10. Perform other finance-related duties assigned by the Finance Manager.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, preferably in the Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Shipping, or Supply Chain industry.
3. Experience handling Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bank reconciliation, journal entries, and month-end closing.
4. Familiar with freight forwarding documentation, shipment costing, and operational billing is highly preferred.
5. Basic knowledge of Indonesian taxation (VAT and Withholding Tax) is an advantage.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
7. Experience with accounting software is preferred.
8. Good command of English, both written and spoken.
9. Mandarin proficiency will be a strong advantage.
10. Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
11. Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
12. Good communication, teamwork skills, and trustworthy.
