Research and Development Staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Extensive experience in R&D within the personal care industry, covering formulation and process engineering.
• Proven leadership experience managing R&D teams and projects.
• Strong knowledge of raw materials, formulation science, Process and product development processes.
• Familiar with GMP, Halal, and BPOM certification requirements.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Strong analytical, leadership, and project management skills.
• Innovative mindset with strong problem-solving ability.

Job Descriptions:

• Lead and manage the R&D team in developing innovative personal & home care products (e.g., skincare, haircare, body care, household care ).
• Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept, formulation, testing, to commercialization.
• Develop and optimize product formulations as well as manufacturing processes (scale-up).
• Ensure all products comply with applicable regulations and certifications (GMP, Halal, BPOM).
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Production, QA/QC, Engineering, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs).
• Set R&D strategy, priorities, and timelines in line with business objectives.
• Monitor industry trends, new ingredients, and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
• Manage R&D budget, resources, and project timelines effectively.
• Review and approve technical documentation, reports, and product specifications.
• Mentor and develop team members to enhance capability and performance.
