DevOps Engineer

Position Overview We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team and support one of our clients, a leading company in the mining industry. The selected candidate must be willing to work onsite (WFO) at the client’s office in Jakarta.

Requirement

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a DevOps/DevSecOps Engineer.
• Hands-on experience operating DevOps/DevSecOps processes for at least 3 systems/applications that have gone live.
• Strong understanding of core DevOps and Application Hosting concepts, including:

○ Source Code Repository ○ CI/CD Pipeline Tools ○ Docker/Containerization & Kubernetes ○ IAM ○ API Gateway ○ WAF ○ Reverse Proxy ○ Anti-DDoS ○ Load Balancer ○ Istio / Service Mesh Control Plane ○ Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) ○ Databases ○ Application Performance Management

• Fast learner who stays updated with the latest DevOps/DevSecOps trends and technologies.
• Capable of acting as a strategic counterpart for improving infrastructure services and DevOps capabilities.
• Strong communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English (written & verbal).
• A strong team player with excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience as a Database Administrator (DBA), Software Developer, Infrastructure Engineer, or QA/QC Engineer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build, modify, and maintain end-to-end DevOps pipelines, including routine health checks of running mechanisms.
• Continuously evaluate and improve pipeline performance, reliability, and effectiveness to support service assurance.
• Develop and maintain DevOps operational procedures within the organization.
• Perform application hosting and deployment, including monitoring and troubleshooting on servers hosted in GCP.
• Configure and manage network components and application infrastructure on Cloud Providers.
• Monitor and maintain overall cloud infrastructure health across two Cloud Providers (GCP & AWS).
• Create and update documentation related to infrastructure, operational support, and other supporting materials to ensure reliability and clarity of DevOps/DevSecOps operations.
• Configure, operate, and maintain supporting components such as:

○ Identity & Access Management (IAM) ○ Web Application Firewall (WAF) & Reverse Proxy ○ Anti-DDoS protection ○ Load Balancers ○ Docker/Container & Kubernetes ○ Istio / Service Mesh Control Plane ○ API Gateway ○ Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) ○ Databases
