Performance Engineer [Banking Industry - Tangerang]

Placement: Banking Industry [Tangerang Area] Type of Employment: Contract under Sigmatech Working arrangement: WFO

Requirement:

• Expertise in JMeter: Advanced scripting, custom samplers, and Groovy/BeanShell scripting.
• Expertise in LoadRunner: Proficiency in Web HTTP/HTML, TruClient, and Web Services protocols.
• Experience with modern "as-code" performance tools.
• Hands-on experience with Dynatrace, New Relic, or AppDynamics to monitor transaction snapshots and code-level hotspots.
• Ability to analyze metrics in Prometheus & Grafana.
• Proficiency in searching and visualizing logs via ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) or Splunk.
• Deep understanding of Microservices, Load Balancers (NGINX/F5), and Caching layers (Redis).
• Familiarity with Docker & Kubernetes (K8s) monitoring (pod health, resource limits).
• Ability to identify slow queries and understand indexing in PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.

Scope of Works:

• Analyze production usage patterns (via Google Analytics or logs) to create realistic performance test scenarios.
• Design and execute Load, Stress, Endurance, and Scalability tests.
• Analyze Thread Dumps, Heap Dumps, and Garbage Collection (GC) behavior to identify memory leaks or locking issues.
• Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps) for automated performance gating.
• Provide recommendations on hardware/cloud resource scaling based on test results.
• Ability to explain complex technical bottlenecks to non-technical stakeholders.
