IT QA Automation

Placement: Banking Industry [Jakarta Area] Type of Employment: Contract under Sigmatech Working arrangement: WFO

Requirement:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years specializing in test automation (Fintech/Banking industry experience is a significant advantage).
• Technical Proficiency:
• Advanced knowledge of Katalon Studio for web and mobile automation.
• Deep understanding of Integration Testing for Flutter (e.g., using Flutter’s integration_test package).
• Strong command of SQL for database validation.
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead technical discussions across cross-functional teams.
• Communication: Fluent in professional English, both written and verbal.

Scope of works:

• Architect, develop, and maintain a scalable and reliable test automation framework using Katalon Studio.
• Mobile Testing Expertise: Design and execute complex Integration Tests for Flutter-based mobile applications, ensuring cross-module compatibility and data integrity.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Lead the QA automation roadmap, mentor junior QA engineers, and foster a culture of quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
• Pipeline Integration: Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and high-quality deployment cycles.
• Defect Management: Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, and Business Analysts to analyze complex system behaviors, identify root causes, and drive the resolution of critical issues.
• Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and implement new testing methodologies, tools, and best practices to reduce manual testing efforts and improve overall system stability.
