DevOps Engineer L2 – Good English Communication

Your tasks

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes environments.
• Develop automation for infrastructure provisioning, patching, configuration, and repetitive operational tasks.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Develop and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines integrated with GitLab.
• Provide L2 support for production/non-production incidents, including troubleshooting and RCA.
• Manage Kubernetes workloads: Pods, Deployments, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Nodes, and resources.
• Operate Tencent Kubernetes Engine (TKE), including cluster/node pool management and troubleshooting.
• Support monitoring, alerting, logging, and automated remediation.
• Maintain Git/GitLab repositories, operational scripts, runbooks, and documentation.
• Automate ITSM workflows such as ticket routing, SLA tracking, and operational notifications.

Requirements

Required Technical Skills

• Cloud: Tencent Cloud; experience with TKE strongly preferred
• Kubernetes: Administration, troubleshooting, workload operations
• CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab
• IaC: Terraform
• Scripting: Bash/Shell; Python preferred
• Version Control: Git & GitLab
• Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, logging & alerting
• Container: Docker
• GitOps: Argo CD & Helm preferred
• Integration: REST API & webhooks
• ITSM: Workflow/ticket automation

Minimum Competency

• Create/maintain Terraform configurations and automation scripts.
• Build and troubleshoot Jenkins pipelines integrated with GitLab.
• Perform Git operations, branching, merging, rebasing, tagging, and MR workflows.
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes using kubectl.
• Troubleshoot Pods, Deployments, Services, Ingress, Nodes, and resource issues.
• Perform cloud/Kubernetes cluster and node pool operations.
• Troubleshoot production L2 incidents and contribute to RCA.
