Specialist Job Overview As the Product Regulatory Supervisor, you will own the end-to-end legal compliance, safety certifications, and market-entry strategies for Clogent’s entire household product portfolio. You will be responsible for navigating national and international regulatory frameworks (such as SNI), managing technical relationships with third-party testing laboratories, and auditing all packaging claims and ingredient formulations. This role requires a unique blend of sharp legal and scientific comprehension to interpret complex technical reports, combined with proactive cross-functional leadership to guide product development and procurement teams safely away from compliance bottlenecks. Job Description:

• Compliance Strategy & Roadmaps: Architect and deploy long-term regulatory roadmaps, ensuring all upcoming household product lines satisfy strict national and international compliance benchmarks (e.g., SNI, BPOM, FDA, REACH, or RoHS) prior to commercial market distribution.
• Product Certification Pipelines: Lead and manage the end-to-end application, renewal, and security processes for all product certifications, distributions licenses, and operational permits, establishing absolute legal clearance for multi-channel retail.
• Labeling & Claims Auditing: Conduct meticulous compliance audits on product packaging artwork, instruction manuals, warning layouts, and public marketing copy to ensure absolute technical accuracy and adherence to consumer protection legislation.
• Laboratory Coordination: Manage corporate networks with accredited third-party testing laboratories, scheduling mandatory safety assessments (such as chemical migration, tensile durability, and electrical insulation tests) while analyzing technical outcome vectors.
• Regulatory Monitoring: Serve as the organization’s primary predictive warning system, continuously tracking and analyzing shifts in government regulations, trade tariffs, public health mandates, and environmental standards impacting the household goods industry.
• Safety Risk Assessment: Execute systematic hazard and safety risk assessments for proto-stage product designs, identifying mechanical flaws, structural vulnerabilities, or chemical toxicities, and dictating required engineering modifications.
• Documentation & Audit Readiness: Build, secure, and manage a centralized, audit-ready digital depository containing the complete compliance database, including Technical Files, Declarations of Conformity, and certified laboratory reports across all active SKUs.
• Internal Sourcing Advisory: Function as a strategic technical advisor to the Product Development and Global Procurement divisions during initial material sourcing phases, verifying raw material compounds meet strict parameters from inception.
• Corrective Resolution Management: Drive rapid, proactive problem-solving initiatives whenever product batches fail internal or external compliance checkpoints, collaborating directly with factories to alter raw chemical formulas or production mechanics.

Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Chemical Engineering, Law, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Material Science, or a highly related technical/science discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive, professional experience operating within Regulatory Affairs, Quality Compliance, or Legal Product Safety, preferably within consumer goods (FMCG), home appliances, or high-volume retail sectors.
• Regulatory Literacy: Deep, practical comprehension of local and global product safety structures, explicitly including SNI specifications for household consumer products, domestic trade requirements, and relevant international standards.
• Analytical Reasoning: Exceptional ability to deconstruct complex legal statutory texts, government decrees, and highly technical laboratory test reports into direct, actionable business execution steps.
• Meticulous Precision: Uncompromising attention to detail regarding fine-print packaging typography, material component breakdowns, and macro-level tracking of certification expiration cycles.
• Stakeholder Diplomacy: Strong communication and interpersonal skills required to professionally represent the brand during direct inquiries, audits, and negotiations with government ministries, customs authorities, and external oversight bodies.
• Software Competence: High proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office suites (advanced Excel data sorting, Word) and corporate document management systems to seamlessly oversee compliance lifecycles for hundreds of active SKUs.
