Quality Officer

WE ARE HIRING: QUALITY OFFICER Location: Batam, Riau Islands, Indonesia

About the Role PT Satrya Maritim Indonesia is looking for a detailed and driven Quality Officer in Batam to support our client's (Bourbon Offshore) fleet and onshore operations. You will maintain quality standards, manage marine documents, and help improve our Quality Management System (QMS).

Key Responsibilities

1. QMS & Compliance: Organize and distribute quality documents, manage the internal QMS database, and lead quality inductions for new onshore staff.
2. Vessel Documentation: Help the fleet team keep mandatory documents (SOPEP, SOLAS, SMPEP) up to date using tools like SmartPal and eDoc.
3. Record Keeping: Check, register, and file critical QHSE paperwork according to document guidelines.
4. Process Updates: Work with process owners to map and update procedures, flowcharts, and forms, and report progress to the QMS Manager.

Requirements

1. Diploma or Degree with 2+ years of experience in QHSE / Port & Shipping Management, or as an Internal Auditor
2. Strong knowledge of QHSE/Offshore standards (ISO, OVID) and good data analysis skills.
3. Fluent in English (written and spoken).
4. Proficient in MS Office.
5. Organized, independent, a team player, and a good trainer.
6. Willing to be based in Batam.
