SMT Engineer

SALARY IS NEGOTIABLE AND WILL BE DISCUSSED DURING THE INTERVIEW, BASED ON CANDIDATE'S QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in FUJI Flexa or Nexim (mandatory).
• Proficiency in SPI and AOI systems.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin is an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in SMT profiling (KIC or equivalent).
• Solid knowledge of solder paste, stencil design, MSL, and SMT engineering fundamentals.
• Diploma/Bachelor in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronics.
• 1–3 years of experience in SMT engineering or SMT production support.
• Proficient in Minitab for data analysis and SPC.
• Able to use AutoCAD for drawing review or layout interpretation.
• Basic RF knowledge for handling RF-related components or testing knowledge.
• Capable of reading and understanding schematic diagrams for troubleshooting and process validation.
• Experienced in SMT manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize SMT programs using FUJI Flexa or Nexim.
• Create and debug AOI programs, and review SPI performance to ensure stable printing quality.
• Perform SMT thermal profiling and reflow optimization.
• Monitor and improve line performance, including DPMO, FPY, and overall yield.
• Troubleshoot issues across printing, placement, reflow, SPI, and AOI processes.
• Support NPI builds, documentation, engineering validation, and continuous process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with ESD, MSD, and internal quality standards.
