Full Stack AI Engineer

Your tasks

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack AI Engineer to work directly with our client on developing and enhancing AI-powered digital healthcare solutions. In this role, you will contribute to the development of AI-driven features and use AI-assisted development techniques, including vibe coding, to improve development efficiency and optimize project operations. You will report directly to the project lead and collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications and AI-powered features for digital healthcare platforms.
• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and application components using Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
• Develop and integrate AI capabilities into existing applications and business workflows.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools and vibe coding techniques to accelerate development, improve productivity, and optimize project operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and reliable technical solutions.
• Test, debug, optimize, and maintain application performance, code quality, and system reliability.
• Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies and development practices to identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, with strong full-stack development capabilities.
• Strong hands-on experience with Ruby and the Ruby on Rails framework.
• Experience developing and integrating AI-powered features or applications.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining backend services, APIs, and frontend components.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and the ability to use them effectively to improve development speed and operational efficiency.
• Conversational English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of technical deliverables.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with LLMs, generative AI, or AI-powered conversational applications.
• Hands-on experience with fine-tuning pre-trained AI models.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, AI agents, and AI workflow automation.
• Experience working on healthcare technology, digital health platforms, or chatbot applications.
• Experience deploying and maintaining applications in cloud environments.
