DevOps Engineer

About the Role We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to build, manage, and improve our technology infrastructure and deployment processes. You will be responsible for cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, automation, system monitoring, and production reliability. You will work closely with software engineers and IT teams to make sure our systems are stable, scalable, and running smoothly. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys automation, troubleshooting, and improving systems and processes.

What You'll Do ☁️ Cloud & Infrastructure

• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
• Manage servers, networks, storage, and production environments.
• Ensure infrastructure is stable, reliable, and scalable.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and resource usage.
• Help optimize infrastructure performance and cost.

🚀 CI/CD & Deployment

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application build, testing, and deployment.
• Automate deployment processes and reduce manual work.
• Work closely with developers to make software releases faster and smoother.
• Support development and production environments.
• Troubleshoot deployment and release issues.

⚙️ Automation & Infrastructure as Code

• Automate infrastructure setup and configuration using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks.
• Build reusable tools and processes to improve engineering efficiency.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve and simplify existing processes.

📊 Monitoring & Reliability

• Monitor system performance, availability, logs, and alerts.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and production issues.
• Investigate the root cause of system problems and implement improvements.
• Help improve system stability, performance, and reliability.
• Maintain backup and disaster recovery processes.
• Participate in incident response and production support when required.

🤝 Collaboration

• Work closely with software engineers, IT teams, and other stakeholders.
• Support developers with infrastructure, deployment, and environment-related requirements.
• Help development teams improve application performance and scalability.
• Maintain clear documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
• Research and recommend tools or technologies that can improve infrastructure and engineering workflows.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Practical experience is also welcome.
• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, System Engineering, SRE, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar.
• Good knowledge of Linux, servers, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with system monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Bahasa Indonesia proficiency is required.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certifications.
• Kubernetes certifications such as CKA or CKAD.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK.
• Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience working in fintech, e-commerce, SaaS, or other regulated industries.
• Experience managing infrastructure in a growing or fast-paced technology environment.
