Your tasks

We are currently looking for an experienced Pattern Maker with high attention to detail to join our garment production team. This position is responsible for translating design sketches, samples, and technical specification sheets into precise and high-quality garment patterns. You will work closely with the purchasing department, sample room, and production team to conduct fitting trials, optimize technical pattern details, improve fabric utilization efficiency, ensure smooth mass production, and control production costs.

Main Responsibilities

• Create detailed patterns and complete sample development for various intimate apparel products.
• Collaborate with the design team to translate design concepts into technical specifications and issue production-ready design documents.
• Perform pattern adjustments (grading/adjustment) through sample making, and perform necessary pattern revisions to ensure fit and final product quality.
• Continuously follow and learn industry trends and the latest process technologies to continuously optimize our products.
• Participate in building and maintaining the pattern database and related technical documentation.

Core Job Tasks

• Based on design sketches, samples, or technical specification sheets, complete the development, creation, and revision of patterns for bra, panties, and loungewear products.
• Ensure pattern measurements are accurate, products fit well when worn, proportions are balanced, and silhouettes and cutting results meet requested standards.
• Conduct fitting trials on samples before fabric cutting for mass production (cutting), and perform necessary technical adjustments to the patterns.
• Optimize pattern marking layouts (marker/nesting) and estimate raw fabric usage to maximize material utilization efficiency.

Requirements

Qualifications Sought

• Minimum 3 years of work experience as a Pattern Maker in the textile and garment industry.
• Proficient in manual pattern making (manual drafting); preference given to those proficient in operating garment CAD software.
• Works carefully, meticulously, and has good judgment regarding human body proportions.
• Able to work efficiently under tight deadlines and possesses excellent teamwork skills.
• Good ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to speak Mandarin will be an added value and is entitled to a higher salary offer / language allowance.
