Content Creator & Video Maker

About Kola Bloc Semarang Kola Bloc Semarang is an integrated lifestyle & sports venue bringing together sports, fitness, lifestyle, entertainment, F&B, and events within one destination. We are looking for a Content Creator & Video Maker who can transform sports, fitness, lifestyle, wellness, and F&B topics into engaging visual content that is informative, relevant, and easy to understand. This role will be involved in the end-to-end content production process, from developing ideas and capturing footage to editing, copywriting, storytelling, and publishing-ready content.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end content production for Kola Bloc, including video and photography for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
• Produce short-form content covering sports, fitness, badminton, padel, billiard, gym, F&B, and lifestyle activities at Kola Bloc.
• Develop educational and engaging content around exercise movements, sports activities, wellness topics, customer experiences, and testimonials.
• Turn complex sports, fitness, and lifestyle information into simple, informative, and visually engaging content that can be easily understood by a general audience.
• Develop content ideas, editorial concepts, hooks, and story structures aligned with Kola Bloc's brand identity.
• Write copywriting for marketing content and develop storytelling for brand-building content.
• Collaborate with the Marketing, Marcomm, Sales, and operational teams to identify content opportunities and relevant topics.
• Monitor current social media, sports, lifestyle, and Semarang trends to develop timely and relevant content.
• Research trending topics, social media discussions, and myth-vs-fact content to identify opportunities for engaging and potentially high-performing content.
• Ensure content is accurate, well-structured, and aligned with Kola Bloc's communication standards.
• Take ownership of content production from ideation, shooting, editing, and copywriting through to final delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of proven experience as a Content Creator, Video Creator, Videographer, Video Editor, or related role.
• Experience in healthcare, fitness, sports clubs, wellness, lifestyle, or F&B is preferred.
• Must have a portfolio and verifiable track record of short-form content produced, edited, or presented.
• Proficient in shooting content using smartphones, mirrorless cameras, or professional cameras.
• Proficient in video editing applications such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, VN, or equivalent.
• Understands basic lighting, framing, composition, and audio recording for video production.
• Confident appearing on camera or has strong articulation and communication skills.
• Able to structure short-form stories with a strong hook, clear narrative, and engaging closing.
• Able to create content that balances education, entertainment, branding, and marketing objectives.
• Creative, proactive, detail-oriented, and highly cooperative when working with different teams.
• Strong attention to information accuracy, especially when creating educational or sports-related content.
• Able to work independently while managing multiple content projects and deadlines.

Preferred

• Experience creating content in sports, fitness, padel, badminton, billiard, wellness, lifestyle, or F&B.
• Experience working with a newly launched brand or business from the early stage.
• Experience developing content specifically for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
• Strong understanding of current social media trends and short-form content formats.
• Experience creating content designed to support brand awareness, engagement, lead generation, or marketing performance.
