API Developer

Responsibilities

• - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and applications
• - Implement efficient server-side logic, data models, and APIs
• - Ensure backend systems adhere to performance, reliability, and security standards
• - Design and optimize relational and non-relational databases
• - Integrate backend systems with third-party services
• - Collaborate with front-end and DevOps teams to deliver seamless solutions
• - Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• - Monitor backend services for uptime and error rates
• - Implement fixes, updates, and optimizations
• - Collaborate with Technical Support to resolve backend issues
• - Apply authentication and authorization best practices
• - Work closely with product managers, designers, and front-end developers
• - Optimize backend services for speed and scalability
• - Implement caching strategies and asynchronous processi
• - Manage release cycles, version control, and CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in API development or backend engineering
• Strong proficiency in PHP (Laravel), Golang, or Node.js
• Experience with RESTful API design, OpenAPI/Swagger, and Postman
• Proficiency with MySQL/MariaDB or similar databases
• Familiarity with Redis or similar caching solutions
• Knowledge of security protocols (SSL/TLS, OAuth2, JWT)
• Understanding of Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
