Technical Support – Industrial Coating & Chemical

PT KASTAR Advanced Chemical Indonesia is a specialty chemical trading company providing innovative solutions for industrial customers. Our products include specialty additives, resins, oils, and performance chemicals for various industries, including: Paint & Coating Printing Ink Adhesives & Sealants Surface Treatment Chemical Fiber

We are looking for a passionate Technical Support professional to join our growing team and provide technical solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide technical support for customers in the Paint, Ink, Adhesive, and Coating industries.
2. Develop, optimize, and evaluate product formulations based on customer requirements.
3. Conduct laboratory testing, product evaluation, and performance analysis.
4. Troubleshoot product application issues and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
5. Work closely with the Sales team to provide technical consultation and product demonstrations.
6. Support customer trials and technical presentations.
7. Prepare technical reports, application guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
8. Participate in new product development and technical projects.
9. Keep up to date with industry trends, market requirements, and competitor products.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Applied Chemistry, Material Science, or related field.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in Technical Support, R&D, Product Development, or Application Engineer within the chemical industry.
3. Experience in Paint, Coating, Ink, Adhesive, Resin, Additives, or Specialty Chemicals is highly preferred.
4. Good understanding of industrial chemical products and formulation processes.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Good communication and presentation skills.
7. Able to work independently and collaboratively with Sales and Technical teams.
8. Good command of English (spoken and written).
9. Mandarin is an advantage.
