DevOps engineer

we're looking for a DevOps Engineer to own the foundation of our cloud-native applications and data platforms. You'll design, automate, and maintain infrastructure that scales with ambition — from CI/CD pipelines to Kubernetes clusters, monitoring stacks to secure networking. If you've debugged a flaky pipeline at 2 a.m., optimized a cluster for cost and latency, or turned manual ops into reproducible code, this is your kind of challenge. AWS experience is preferred, but if you've worked across GCP, Azure, or hybrid environments — and understand that cloud is a mindset, not just a vendor — you'll fit right in. This is a hybrid role based in West Jakarta, where your work enables engineering teams to move faster, with confidence. What You'll Do: ✅ Design and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, EKS, Lambda, RDS, IAM, etc.) ✅ Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) for data, ML, and fullstack services ✅ Operate and optimize Kubernetes clusters (EKS, GKE, or self-managed) in production ✅ Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog ✅ Secure and scale networking layers: load balancers, Nginx, API gateways, VPCs, and service meshes ✅ Automate infrastructure with Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK — treating config as code ✅ Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and MLEs to improve deployment velocity and reliability ✅ Champion best practices: GitOps, secrets management, RBAC, cost control, and disaster recovery Who You Are: ✅ 2–3 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering, ideally in tech-driven environments ✅ Deep hands-on experience with AWS — especially in data-heavy or compute-intensive use cases ✅ Multi-cloud exposure (GCP, Azure) is a strong plus — you understand patterns, not just platforms ✅ Proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Git workflows ✅ Skilled in scripting (Python, Bash) and debugging distributed systems ✅ Experience managing Nginx, load balancers, reverse proxies, or API gateways in production ✅ Bonus: Familiarity with data-intensive workloads, ML pipelines, or hybrid cloud/on-prem systems ✅ Fluent in English — written and spoken ✅ Proactive, collaborative, and passionate about building systems that endure
