About the company
Job description KAZOKKU is looking for a Security Engineer (L1) to join a leading mining company on a 1-year contract, fully onsite in Slipi, West Jakarta. Laptop provided.
Your tasks
- Supervise 24/7 SOC Analyst operations
- Analyze security threats and incidents
- Advise customers on mitigation and remediation actions
- Perform initial fine-tuning and response for security managed services
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly security reports for customers
- Support the implementation of security tools
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, NOC, or IT infrastructure
- Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, OSI, DNS, firewall, VPN)
- Basic understanding of security concepts and common attacks
- Able to analyze logs and identify anomalies
- Familiar with at least one SIEM tool (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Wazuh, Elastic, Sentinel)
- Understanding of basic incident handling (triage, escalation, documentation)
- Good reporting and communication skills, with good written English
- Able to work onsite and join ASAP
