Backend Engineer (Python)

Do you enjoy writing clean, efficient Python code and want your work to power systems used at national scale? We're hiring on behalf of our client in the banking industry — KAZOKKU is opening this role for them.

• Contract: 3-month contract (through KAZOKKU)
• Work Arrangement: Onsite
• Office Location: South Jakarta (Sudirman–Benhil area)
• Notice Period: Can start immediately

What you'll work on

• Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Python
• Design clean, scalable RESTful APIs and microservices
• Work with databases to keep data flowing smoothly
• Team up with AI Engineers and QA to ship features together
• Join code reviews and help keep the codebase healthy

What we're looking for

• 2–3 years of experience (this one's for Middle level, not fresh grads)
• Solid hands-on Python skills
• Experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Comfortable with REST APIs and database design
• Willing to join immediately
• Onsite in South Jakarta
• Bring Your Own Device (laptop is not provided by client)
