🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Identify and maintain an inventory of assets within the patch management scope.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and schedule patch deployment activities.
• Continuously monitor and review security advisories issued by vendors including Microsoft, Red Hat, Oracle, VMware, Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and others.
• Assess and identify vulnerabilities requiring remediation through patching.
• Conduct risk assessments based on CVSS ratings, exploitability, threat exposure, and business impact.
• Establish patch deployment priorities according to asset criticality and vulnerability severity.
• Perform post-deployment vulnerability assessments to validate patch effectiveness.
• Generate and present periodic patch compliance and remediation status reports.
• Ensure patch management activities are aligned with organizational security policies and industry best practices.
• Effectively communicate complex technical risks and security findings to management and non-technical stakeholders.
• Evaluate security risks associated with unpatchable systems, particularly legacy environments, and implement appropriate compensating controls to mitigate residual risks.

✅ Qualifications

1. Experience with the vulnerability management tools such as Tenable One, Security Center/Nessus Scanners, Tenable.io, Qualys, etc.
2. Experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) modules.
3. Experience with Window, Linux, Database, and Web Apps system administration.
4. Experience in project task technical analysis, planning, and estimation.
5. Experience with technology capabilities market research, technical analysis/review, and recommendation.
6. Other relevant industry certifications such as Security +, CAP, CEH etc
7. Background Developer : Patching Management (3-5 Years)
