QA Automation Testing

Your tasks

• Develop and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases, automation scripts, and test execution reports using Test Management Tools.
• Perform Software Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and System Testing to ensure application quality and compliance with business requirements.
• Conduct functional and non-functional testing, including regression, compatibility, performance, smoke, deployment, and rollback testing.
• Design and execute automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency, consistency, and coverage.
• Perform end-to-end testing to validate business workflows and ensure application functionality meets user requirements.
• Conduct API and database testing to verify data integrity, system integration, and application behavior.
• Identify, document, track, and report defects or bugs, and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Analyze Functional Specification Documents (FSD), Technical Specification Documents (TSD), and business requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Support application enhancements, defect fixes, and production issue resolutions through appropriate testing activities.
• Ensure all project requirements are delivered and validated through test scripts and testing documentation.
• Prepare daily progress reports for the QA Lead and conduct weekly knowledge-sharing sessions with the team.
• Provide knowledge transfer and testing documentation handover when required.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree (S1) in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or other relevant IT-related disciplines.
• Professional experience as a Tester in the banking industry minimum 1 year of experience.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to analyze Functional Specification Documents (FSD), Technical Specification Documents (TSD), and business requirements.
• Hands-on experience with Test Management Tools, Automation Testing Tools, and Performance Testing Tools.
• Understanding of API Testing and Database Testing concepts.
• Ability to operate AS400 / Green Screen environments.
• Understanding of accounting guidelines and journal entry procedures.
• Knowledge of risk-based testing, test coverage, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Good understanding of banking business processes, particularly digital banking products and services.
• Experience testing Enterprise Finance Systems, Enterprise General Ledger applications, or similar financial systems.
• Familiarity with banking transactions, financial processes, and application integration is an advantage.
