IT Asset Management

Your tasks

• Manage and maintain IT asset inventory, including hardware, software, peripherals, and other IT equipment.
• Monitor the entire IT asset lifecycle, including procurement, receiving, asset tagging, allocation, transfer, maintenance, and disposal.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date IT asset records in the asset management system or database.
• Conduct regular physical asset verification and reconciliation to ensure consistency between physical assets and recorded inventory.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, procurement, vendors, and relevant departments regarding IT asset requests, distribution, returns, and replacements.
• Monitor asset utilization, warranty status, maintenance schedules, and asset conditions.
• Prepare periodic IT asset inventory reports and documentation to support internal audits and asset tracking.
• Ensure IT assets are properly documented, assigned, and managed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Identify discrepancies in asset records and follow up on missing, damaged, or unreturned IT assets.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Informatics Engineering, or a related IT field.
• 1–2 years of experience in IT Asset Management, IT Inventory Management, or a similar IT asset-related role.
• Familiar with IT asset lifecycle management, inventory control, asset tracking, and asset reconciliation.
• Basic understanding of IT hardware, software, peripherals, and IT infrastructure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for inventory tracking and reporting.
• Experience using an IT Asset Management (ITAM) system, inventory management tools, or an IT Service Management (ITSM) platform is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, documentation, and data management skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Able to work independently and ensure the accuracy and completeness of IT asset records.
