Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in any field, with a minimum of 3–4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain.
  2. Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of securing favorable pricing, contract and payment terms, and applying cost saving or cost avoidance strategies to protect the company's budget.
  3. Solid understanding of the end-to-end sourcing process, including RFP management and vendor bidding, across both office supplies and production materials such as raw materials, packaging, or finished goods.
  4. Good product knowledge, with awareness of specifications, quality standards, and market trends relevant to the goods being procured.
  5. Proficient in using ERP systems, e-procurement platforms, and MS Excel to support day-to-day procurement work.
  6. Detail-oriented and highly organized, yet quick and responsive when handling urgent or fast-changing procurement needs across departments.
  7. High integrity, with sound judgment in identifying and avoiding risky or non-compliant supplier practices.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure procurement processes run smoothly and on time, in line with company SLAs, policies, and compliance standards.
  2. Monitor for potential fraud or unethical practices throughout the procurement process to help ensure end-to-end compliance.
  3. Source and evaluate potential suppliers based on reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  4. Lead contract negotiations, including payment terms, and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure consistent pricing, quality, and delivery performance.
  5. Plan and forecast material requirements based on production and project needs, including day-to-day office supply needs and time-sensitive requests from departments such as Marketing.
  6. Coordinate material scheduling with production planning teams and monitor inventory at supplier warehouses to keep supply aligned with demand and prevent overstock or losses from rejected materials.
  7. Request, review, and manage RFPs as part of the sourcing process.
