Backend Developer
About the Role LanceSoft Indonesia is looking for a Backend Developer – AI & Automation to join our team in North Jakarta. In this role, you will be responsible for developing scalable backend services, building workflow automation using n8n, integrating REST APIs, and supporting innovative solutions involving LLM, RAG, and AI Agents. We are looking for someone with strong hands-on backend development experience who is comfortable working with modern technologies such as Node.js, NestJS, Python, FastAPI, n8n, Docker, and Git.
Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable and maintainable backend services using NestJS and FastAPI. Design, build, and manage workflow automation using n8n to integrate different systems and business processes. Develop and integrate REST APIs with internal applications and third-party services. Collaborate with Product and AI teams to implement solutions using LLM, RAG, and AI Agents. Perform code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Ensure application quality, reliability, and security. Manage source code using Git and follow software development best practices. Support application deployment and integration with existing systems.
Requirements Bachelor's degree (S1) in Informatics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Backend Developer / Backend Engineer. Strong hands-on experience with Python or Node.js. Experience with NestJS is highly preferred. Hands-on experience developing workflow automation using n8n. Experience developing and integrating REST APIs. Familiarity with Docker, Git, and application deployment. Good understanding of backend architecture, API integration, debugging, and performance optimization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork skills.
