PHP Yii Developer

Job Description

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and Yii Framework.
• Implement new features and improve existing application functionality.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with frontend or third-party systems.
• Design and optimize database queries and data processing.
• Perform bug fixing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Conduct unit testing and support integration testing.
• Collaborate with Frontend Developers, QA, Business Analysts, and other teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure code quality and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a PHP Developer / Backend Developer.
• Strong programming skills in PHP.
• Hands-on experience with Yii Framework (Yii2 preferred).
• Good understanding of MVC architecture and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Experienced in MySQL/MariaDB and database query optimization.
• Familiar with REST API / Web Services and JSON.
• Familiar with Git and version control.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Familiar with Linux/Unix environment is a plus.
