Studio Technician / Operator
About the company
We run a podcast studio in Renon built for creators, founders, and brands. We handle everything from single-mic interviews to multi-cam shows, and we're growing fast enough that we need someone to own the technical side of the room.
Your tasks
You'll be the person who makes a session actually happen: setting up, running, and striking the gear, and keeping the studio sounding and looking right. You don't need to be a producer — you need to be technically solid, calm under a session clock, and good with clients sitting two metres away.
- Set up and operate cameras, microphones, lighting, and the RØDECaster for recording sessions
- Run sessions end-to-end: mic checks, gain staging, framing, levels, monitoring, backups
- Prep the room before clients arrive and reset it after
- Handle files: ingest, backup, basic cleanup and export handover
- Troubleshoot and maintain gear — cables, stands, batteries, firmware, the small stuff that kills a session
- Keep an accurate gear inventory and a tidy studio
- Bonus if you can do basic edits or cut social clips
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with podcast, studio, or video production gear
- Confident operating a RØDECaster Video S
- Solid audio fundamentals: gain staging, mic placement and technique, spotting room noise and feedback before the client does
- Camera work: framing, focus, exposure, multi-cam setups
- Lighting: three-point setups, softboxes and panels, knowing when the look is off
- Communicative English is a must. You don't need to be fluent — but you need to hold a session with a client in English: give direction, explain a delay, answer a question about the setup. Our clients are a mix of local and international, and the session doesn't stop for a translation
- Punctual, detail-oriented, presentable with clients
- Able to work flexible hours — some evenings and weekends
- Based in or near Denpasar

- Editing in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Audition
- Live streaming: OBS, Restream, ATEM switcher
- Basic AV/network troubleshooting
- A portfolio or reel of sessions you've worked on
