Job Description
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our client in the IT industry. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation testing, improving test coverage, and leveraging AI tools to make the testing process more efficient.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Build and execute automation testing using Python.
- Perform web application testing and analyze automation results.
- Develop and maintain test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Identify, document, and track bugs/issues.
- Integrate automated testing into the development/CI/CD process.
- Utilize AI tools / AI-assisted testing to improve test creation, scripting, debugging, and testing efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Product, and other technical teams.
- Perform mobile automation testing using Maestro, if applicable.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in QA / Software Testing / QA Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright — Mandatory.
- Good hands-on experience with Python for automation testing — Mandatory.
- Familiar with AI-assisted testing / AI tools for QA or automation scripting — Mandatory.
- Experience with Maestro for mobile automation testing is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of API testing, regression testing, and end-to-end testing.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD environments is preferred.
- Able to work independently in a remote working environment.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Willing to work under a 3-month contract (extendable).
