Responsible for the daily care, welfare, and management of marine animals, The Marine Mammals Keeper supports animal feeding, habitat maintenance, behavioral observation, enrichment activities, training, and ensures that animal welfare and safety standards are consistently maintained. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily care and husbandry activities for marine mammals and other aquatic animals, including feeding, cleaning, and habitat preparation.
  • Assist in the care and management of marine mammals
  • Monitor animal health, behavior, appetite, and overall condition, and report any abnormalities to the supervisor or veterinary team.
  • Conduct and assist with animal training, enrichment, and behavioral programs according to established procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in animal habitats, pools, and surrounding areas.
  • Perform regular activities in and around the pool, including swimming and diving as required for animal care and habitat maintenance.
  • Assist with animal handling, medical procedures, and veterinary activities when required.
  • Maintain accurate records of feeding, animal behavior, health observations, training, and daily activities.
  • Support educational programs and guest interactions related to marine animal conservation and welfare.
  • Follow all animal welfare, occupational safety, hygiene, and operational procedures.
  • Work closely with the Animal Care, Veterinary, and other operational teams to ensure proper animal management.
  • articipate in emergency response procedures involving animals, facilities, or guests.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; background in Animal Science, Marine Biology, Fisheries, Veterinary, or related fields is an advantage.
  • Must be able to swim confidently and be comfortable working in the water.
  • Able to dive and perform underwater activities as required.
  • Have a genuine love, passion, and concern for animals and animal welfare.
  • Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors, around pools, and in wet environments.
  • Willing to work on shifts, weekends, public holidays, and according to operational requirements.
  • Good observation skills, responsible, disciplined, and able to follow animal care procedures.
  • Previous experience working with animals, marine animals, aquariums, zoos, animal facilities, or related fields is an advantage.
  • Candidates who are currently based in Bali are preferred.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English.
