QC Tester (.NET & AS400)

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Quality Control (QC) professional to ensure system quality through comprehensive testing of system enhancements, particularly in integrated financial or payment systems environments.

Qualifications

• Education
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Good communication skill in English (written and spoken) – required for communication with local, regional and

headquarter teams

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in software testing / quality control (for middle level)
• Minimum 5+ years of experience (for senior level)
• Experience in system integration testing is preferable
• Experience in testing for Banking system projects is preferable
• Key Responsibilities
• Develop test strategy, test plan, and test cases based on system requirements and technical design documents.
• Perform functional testing, integration testing, and regression testing.
• Familiar with Non-Functional Testing
• Execute testing activities and ensure system functionality meets business and technical requirements.
• Identify, log, track defects, coordinate with Programmer for resolution.
• Validate fixes and perform re-testing to ensure quality standards are met.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of test documentation and reports.
• Provide quality evaluation or assessment and readiness for deployment.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory expectations where applicable.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies (functional, nonfunctional, integration, regression testing)
• Familiar with multi-platform testing preparation such as Web Based, Front End, Back End .NET and As400 platform
• Experience in test case design and execution
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools
• Understanding of system integration testing in complex environments
• Ability to analyze requirements and derive test scenarios
• Knowledge of SDLC processes
• Experience in banking/payment systems is an advantage
• Strong analytical and attention to detail
• Good communication and coordination with technical and business users
• Strong documentation and reporting capabilities
