Tax & Accounting Specialist

Your tasks

About the role Handle the company's tax compliance and ensure accurate and timely tax reporting in accordance with Indonesian tax regulations. Manage Value Added Tax (VAT/PPN), including input and output VAT calculations, invoice verification, reconciliation, and tax reporting. Understand and assist with corporate tax obligations in Indonesia, including VAT, Corporate Income Tax (PPh Badan), and other applicable taxes. Analyze taxable transactions and identify legal tax optimization opportunities in compliance with applicable regulations.

• Prepare tax calculations, reconciliations, and supporting schedules using Microsoft Excel
• Review sales and purchase invoices to ensure tax accuracy and proper documentation
• Maintain organized tax records and supporting documents for reporting, audits, and compliance purposes
• Support tax audits and provide relevant documentation when required
• Prepare tax reports and present findings or discrepancies to management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience in tax compliance, accounting, or taxation in Indonesia
• Good understanding of Indonesian tax regulations, particularly VAT (PPN) and Corporate Income Tax (PPh Badan)
• Hands-on experience handling input VAT, output VAT, tax invoices, and VAT reconciliation
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data analysis, and tax calculations
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
• Able to provide relevant work samples or demonstrate previous experience in tax calculations and reconciliations, with confidential information properly redacted
• Familiarity with the e-Faktur and Coretax systems is an advantage
