About the position

You are the technical mind of your projects and manage customer-specific cable assemblies independently from the initial inquiry to series production handover, with technical expertise and commercial confidence.

Much of what makes our technology run is never seen: it is tucked inside combine harvesters, construction machinery, and medical devices. That is exactly where our work begins. As an owner-managed system supplier, we, PSZ electronic GmbH, have been manufacturing customized cable assembly and plastics technology with great craftsmanship and precision since 2003 and according to ISO 9001. Behind us stands an internationally active group with over 2,500 employees and its own plants in Tunisia, Czech Republic, and Albania. "Dahoam" in the Oberpfalz, but at home in the world.

As a Project Manager, you bear full responsibility for your projects over several months: you evaluate and optimize customer drawings with technical expertise, calculate offers including contribution margin, and manage implementation in our plants in Tunisia, Czech Republic, and Albania. In doing so, you are the competent technical contact for our customers, especially during the decisive prototype phase. You have real creative freedom regarding products and solutions, with short paths, flat hierarchies, and fast decisions. Your solutions ultimately end up in combine harvesters, construction machinery, and medical technology, implemented with our own technical know-how, our own patents, and our own developed ERP-System.

Tasks

• Project responsibility: You manage your projects independently from the inquiry to the series production handover over the entire multi-month duration.
• Technical evaluation: You check and optimize customer drawings, think ahead, and question where it makes technical and economic sense.
• Offer calculation: You calculate offers, coordinate with purchasing and the plant, and keep an eye on profitability.
• Plant management: You manage implementation and first article/prototyping in the responsible plant in Tunisia, Czech Republic, or Albania.
• Customer contact: You are the technical contact for your customers, especially during the prototype phase.

Profile

• Technical background: Degree, technician, or master craftsman in Elektrotechnik, Maschinenbau, or Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, alternatively commercial with sound technical understanding.
• Project experience: You have already managed technical projects independently and maintain a confident grip even on multiple processes.
• Communication strength: You are convincing in exchange with customers, colleagues, and plants and find the right approach even in complex situations.
• Languages: You are proficient in English for international cooperation; French is a plus for contact with Tunisia.
• Commercial sense: You combine technical depth with an eye for clean calculation and profitability.
