User Experience Designer

We are hiring a UI/UX Designer to own the experience of our buyer mobile app and vendor dashboard. You will design how Nigerians shop safely online, from discovery to checkout.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end user flows, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity UI for mobile app and web.
• Design vendor tools: onboarding, verification, product upload, orders, payouts and growth badges.
• Build and maintain a design system and component library based on our brand guidelines.
• Plan and run user research and usability tests with buyers, vendors and couriers.
• Design for mid-range Android devices, low bandwidth and first-time online shoppers.
• Deliver developer-ready specs and work closely with front-end and back-end developers.

Requirements

• 2+ years of UI/UX or product design experience.
• Portfolio showing research, process and design decisions, not just final screens.
• Advanced Figma skills (auto layout, variables, components, prototyping).
• Experience creating or scaling a design system.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and Android and iOS design patterns.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in e-commerce, marketplaces, fintech or payments.
• Experience designing for Nigerian or African users.
• Motion and micro-interaction design.
