Export Manager Purus
Purus is part of Vitas Group – a family-owned business group with a long industrial history, strong brands, and people who know their products, their customers, and their markets. Here, there is pride in what we do and a long-term perspective in how we build both relationships and business.
Now we are looking for an Export Manager who wants to become part of that journey.
This is not a role where you lead sales from a desk. We are looking for you who enjoys the combination of strategy, international business, customer relations, and leadership. You set the direction together with the team – but are also out in the market yourself, meeting customers, driving business, and stepping in when negotiations become complex.
The Mission
The ambition is clear: Purus shall strengthen its position and become a leader in Europe. There is an established business and a plan to build upon. Your mission will be, together with the team, to translate the ambition into prioritized markets, customers, and activities - and then make it happen.
As Export Manager, you lead and develop the export team and are responsible for creating both direction and the conditions for continued international growth.
- Develop and implement the export strategy with clear goals and priorities.
- Identify which markets, customers, and deals we should focus on.
- Lead, coach, and develop the export team.
- Be personally active in strategically important customer relationships.
- Support the team in larger deals, contract discussions, and complex negotiations.
- Develop new markets and business opportunities.
- Ensure a good flow of information between the export team and the rest of the organization.
- Work closely with production and other functions regarding delivery capability, pricing, and customer promises.
- Represent the export business internally and create buy-in for international business opportunities.
- Strengthen the exchange of experience with the rest of the sales organization.
Who are we looking for?
You have worked with international B2B sales for several years and understand what it means to do business in different markets. You know that international sales is about more than just translating a Swedish sales model into English. Business culture, decision-making processes, distribution models, and customer requirements differ between markets, and you are accustomed to navigating that.
- At least five years of experience in international sales across multiple markets.
- Experience in leading and developing employees.
- Experience with large B2B customers and complex deals.
- Good familiarity with commercial agreements and qualified negotiations.
- Experience from technical products or other technically oriented B2B business.
- Ability to translate growth goals and strategy into concrete activities.
- Very good English.
If you have lived or worked abroad, speak additional languages, or have previously helped scale an export business, that is extra interesting. However, you do not need to come from VVS or stainless steel. For us, international business understanding, leadership, and the ability to create growth are more important than you already knowing our products.
How we lead, together
We are looking for a clear, confident, and present leader who creates direction, helps the team prioritize, and is there when needed. You are unpretentious enough to listen and experienced enough to challenge.
As part of the family-owned Vitas Group, there is a long-term perspective and short paths between people and decisions. At Purus, sales, product, and production work closely together, and as Export Manager, you need to be able to create trust, drive issues forward, and get different parts of the organization to work toward the same goal.
Here, leadership is not about standing at the very front alone, but about getting more people to want to go in the same direction.
Curious?
Then we would love to have an initial conversation. We want to hear more about what you have done, what you want to achieve moving forward, and tell you more about the role, Purus, and Vitas Group. Then we will see if it could be the right next step, for both.
