About the Vacancy

An important company in the manufacturing/automotive sector is looking for a Cost Analyst to join its Finance team. The selected candidate will be responsible for budget control, consolidation of corporate reports for North America, and cost variation analysis by operational areas (shops).

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years of verifiable experience in cost control and finance areas within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Language: Advanced English (Essential for reporting and meetings with corporate in North America).
  • Systems Management: Proficiency in SAP (CO Module / Cost Centers) and Advanced Excel.
  • Competencies: Analytical thinking, high degree of organization, excellent communication, service orientation, and commitment to internal customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Budget Management: Administration and control of the operating budget per unit (shop).
  • International Reporting: Consolidation and submission of the annual and quarterly budget for the North America region.
  • Variation Analysis: Continuous evaluation of expenses and investments (Actual vs. Plan) and analysis of actual cost vs. price study.
  • Systems & SAP: Maintenance of cost centers, assignments, and control in the SAP system.
  • Inventories & Audits: Operational support in physical inventory counts and attention to financial statement audits.
  • Continuous Improvement: Follow-up on cost efficiency projects per shop and budget control.
  • Executive Reports: Preparation and presentation of the monthly cost and expense report at the plant and operational areas level.

Working Conditions and Offer:

  • Contract Type: Temporary Position (1-year Project).
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 4:36 pm (With availability for schedule adjustments according to accounting closing needs).
  • Modality: 100% On-site.
