What you will do as a Platform Cloud Engineer You will join our Platform Team, where you will work together with Platform Engineers and SREs on the foundation upon which our products are built. We work according to an agile mindset, with short feedback loops and a strong focus on delivering value quickly. In this role, you will play a key role in the reliability and scalability of our cloud platform. You will help build a modern Azure and Kubernetes environment that our products and customers rely on daily. Specifically: You take ownership of our cloud infrastructure on Azure.
You ensure that AKS clusters, storage, messaging systems, and network components remain reliable, secure, and scalable.
You perform upgrades, maintenance activities, and scaling operations on our Kubernetes platforms.
You monitor the health of our infrastructure and provide support during incidents and on-call moments.
You analyze production problems and determine whether the cause lies in the infrastructure layer or further up in the stack.
You work closely with Platform Engineers to ensure that new platform components can be smoothly deployed and managed.
You contribute to Infrastructure as Code and help further expand standardization and automation.
Your mindset and skills Experience with Azure cloud services such as AKS, Storage, Service Bus, and networking.
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar).
You understand applications well enough to correctly analyze and isolate problems.
Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
You take ownership and feel comfortable in a production environment.
Good knowledge of English.
Nice to haves Experience with messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, Event Hub, or Azure Service Bus.
Experience within a SaaS environment.
Knowledge of observability tooling.
Experience with multi-tenant architectures.
What do we offer you? Gross salary: between €4000 and €5200 per month, depending on experience.
