Emergency Response Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a dependable and safety focused Emergency Response Technician to join our team. This position is responsible to responding to hazardous material spills, environmental emergencies, industrial accidents, and remediation projects. Candidates must be able to work in fast-paced environments, follow strict safety procedures, and available for emergency call-outs as needed. No prior experience is required we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and positive attitude Schedule: On-call availability, overtime opportunities, nights/weekends as needed Key Responsibilities: Respond to hazardous material spills, chemical releases, fuel spills, and environmental emergencies Perform containment cleanup, decontamination, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials Operate vacuum trucks, pumps, pressure washers, generators, and other response equipment Set up safety zones, traffic control, and spill containment barriers Follow OSHA, EPA, DOT, and company safety procedures at all times Wear and maintain PPE including respirators, Tyvek suits, gloves, and protective gear Complete field paperwork, manifests, reports, and incident documentation Assist with confined space entry, tank cleaning, industrial cleaning, and remediation projects Participate in on-call after-hours emergency response Maintain a clean and organized shop, trucks and equipment Qualifications: Previous hazmat experience preferred but not required Valid Driver's license Ability to work long hours, nights, weekends and holidays Must be able to list 50+lbs and work in physically demanding environments Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Strong attention to safety and the ability to follow procedures Tanker endorsements or equipment operations experience is a plus Why join us?
