The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
- Working with individual pupils and small groups to enhance learning outcomes.
- Providing additional support to children with varying learning needs.
- Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging pupil engagement.
- Assisting with classroom preparation and learning resources.
- Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.
- Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience working with children in a school, nursery, or similar setting.
- A positive, patient, and proactive attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- A genuine passion for education and supporting young people.
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications (desirable but not essential).
