Sociology Teacher

We are working with a highly regarded East London school that has a strong reputation for academic success, excellent student behaviour, and a commitment to providing outstanding educational opportunities for young people.

The school is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Sociology Teacher to join their successful Humanities department on a 4-day-per-week basis until the end of July .

The Role

• Teaching Sociology across Key Stages 4 and 5
• Planning and delivering engaging, challenging lessons that inspire students
• Monitoring progress and supporting students to achieve their full potential
• Working collaboratively within a supportive and experienced department
• Part-time position (4 days per week) until July

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Has experience teaching Sociology up to KS5/A-Level
• Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for the subject
• Has excellent classroom management skills
• Is committed to raising attainment and delivering high-quality teaching
