Primary Tutor - RG21 Area
Support Young Learners Through Personalised Education We're looking for a Primary Tutor to support children in the RG21 area through tailored 1:1 tuition. Working on behalf of Local Authorities , you'll provide personalised support to primary-aged learners who require alternative educational provision. Many of the children we support benefit from a patient, nurturing approach that helps build confidence, develop core skills, and encourage positive engagement with learning. This is a rewarding opportunity for educators who enjoy making a direct impact on a child's educational journey through individualised support. Location: RG21 Area Key Stage: Primary (KS1 & KS2) Hours: Flexible Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour Type: 1:1 Tuition
Requirements Minimum 6 months' experience delivering tuition or teaching within an educational setting Experience supporting primary-aged learners Good understanding of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum QTS preferred but not essential Ability to plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons Experience supporting learners with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable Strong communication and relationship-building skills Patient, adaptable, and encouraging approach Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally within the RG21 area
Who You'll Support You'll work with children who may have: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs ADHD Anxiety and school avoidance Speech, language, and communication needs EHCPs and additional educational needs Each learner receives a personalised programme designed to support both educational progress and confidence-building.
