*Schedule*
Prosperity Delivery & Warehousing is looking for a Full - Time, Permanent Driver who is energetic, personable and safe. You must enjoy meeting people and pride yourself on excellent customer service. Heavy lifting is required for this position. Drivers will start at 8:00 am. and occasional extended hours may be required. The shift will be from Monday - Friday. We are a small team that requires a dedicated individual for this position.
*Responsibilities*
- Following the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck
- Meeting delivery deadlines
- Performing basic truck maintenance
- Loading and unloading cargo
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Obtaining client or customer signatures when needed
- Warehouse duties, including loading and unloading trailers, scan items into our system, prep orders to be delivered.
*Skills and Qualifications*
- A valid driver's license AND clean driving record.
- Knowledge of how to handle materials safely, such as building materials and cabinets with care.
- Familiarity with the City and surrounding areas.
- Time management to ensure deliveries are made on schedule
- Physical ability to load and unload heavy cargo
- Forklift experience would be an asset, but not necessary.
- Fluent in English
