Website Content Editor
Location: Central London, hybrid (2 to 3 days per week on site) Contract: Temporary, 2 to 3 months Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week Pay: £23.01 per hour (+ £2.78 holiday pay) (circa £42,000 salaried equivalent) Start Date: ASAP Prospectus is delighted to be supporting a leading higher education institution in the search for a temporary Website Content Editor . This role will support a major website migration project, helping to transfer, review and enhance content within a new Drupal 11 platform ahead of a key launch deadline. It is an excellent opportunity for an experienced digital content professional to join a busy marketing team and make an immediate impact on a high-profile project. Key Responsibilities: Transfer and publish website content within Drupal 11, following agreed templates and content structures. Review migrated content to ensure accuracy, consistency and correct formatting. Proofread and edit content, maintaining quality and tone of voice across the website. Upload and manage images, videos and other digital assets within the CMS. Check page layouts, links, navigation and content components, identifying and resolving issues. Apply accessibility and SEO best practice, including metadata and image alt text. Maintain content migration trackers and monitor project progress. Support final content quality assurance checks ahead of launch. Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the marketing team to meet project deadlines. Key Requirements: Recent, relevant experience in a similar role, with experience using Drupal to create, edit and manage website content, and the ability to manage website content within a professional environment. Strong proofreading, editing and content quality assurance skills, and a methodical approach to checking large volumes of content. Experience uploading and formatting images, videos and other digital assets within a CMS, alongside an understanding of website accessibility standards and SEO best practice. Experience supporting website migration or redevelopment projects. High level of organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to build strong stakeholder relationships. Collaborative and proactive approach, with the capability to work both independently and in a team.
