Your tasks
About the role A Baggage Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient loading, unloading and movement of baggage. The role involves handling and transporting baggage in compliance with workplace safety procedures and operational requirements, working in outdoor environments across rotating day and night shifts.
- Handle loading, unloading and movement of baggage safely and efficiently
- Ensure proper handling and transportation of baggage
- Comply with workplace safety procedures and operational requirements
- Perform duties in outdoor working environments
- Provide shift coverage when colleagues are on leave or medical leave
- Carry out other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Physically fit and capable of handling baggage
- Willing to work outdoors under the sun
- Able to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and public holidays based on roster
- Flexible to cover shifts when required
- Able to commence work immediately or on short notice
- Relevant experience is an advantage
What we offer
- Night Shift Allowance: S$200 per month (applicable to night-shift employees only)
- 4 days off per month
- 1.5 hours daily break
